Jürgen Klopp's agent, Mark Kosik, said that Liverpool wanted to link the German to the new contract of the club.
Klopp joined the Red Army in 2015 and turned Liverpool into one of Europe's top teams in just four seasons.
Liverpool won the highest score in club history in the Premier League and won the Champions League in the 2018-19 season, ending a wonderful season.
Considering his outstanding performance in Liverpool and his previous performance in Mainz and Dortmund, it is not surprising that Klopp has recently been associated with some top football positions, especially the position of the German national team.
Although Kosick admitted that Klopp might one day be interested in taking over the German national team, he claimed that the Liverpool coach did not want to leave the Red Army soon.
Kosik told the German World News: "Yurgen himself once said that if Loew no longer wants to be a national team coach one day, and he is likely to do the job, it is an option for him."
However, he added that Klopp did not leave the Red Army until the current contract expired in 2022.
"Liverpool even wants to extend the contract." He added: "(Yurgen) once again felt at the recent celebration (after winning the Champions League) that Liverpool is a great club, he appeared in the right place at the right time."
Kosick also hinted that Liverpool would not allow another team to talk to their current coach, no matter how much they would give.
He said: "Jurgen is currently not for sale. But in any case, it is difficult to measure his transfer fee. How does this work for a coach who increases the value of the club from 900 million pounds to 2.8 billion pounds? But not so To count."
